Musée Fabre
The Musée Fabre offers the annual François Daulte grant to support research in art history, particularly related to the François Daulte collection. Eligible research themes include: the life and work of Frédéric Bazille, Alfred Sisley, and Auguste Renoir; the beginnings of Impressionism; Impressionism and graphic arts; collecting and exhibiting Impressionism; art criticism in the late 19th century; and cultural life in Montpellier during the late 19th century.
A research grant of €10,000.
The grant is intended for post-doctoral researchers conducting studies in history and art history.
