About the Open Call

A research residency programme aimed at art critics working and living abroad. The programme supports research projects on art criticism using the environment of the Cité internationale des arts, the INHA, and the AICA archives at the Archives de la Critique d’Art in Rennes. Selected residents receive tailored guidance, professional networking access, a live-in studio at the Marais site, a monthly stipend of €1,000, and travel cost coverage up to €1,000.

Requirements

Applicants must demonstrate at least five years of professional experience in art criticism, be a current AICA member, and reside outside mainland France. Collective applications are not eligible.
