About the Open Call
BARCELONA CONTEMPORARY 2026 is the 8th edition of an international exhibition dedicated to painting, photography, video art, installation, sculpture, and performance art. The event focuses on the connection between body and space through two sections: 'MIXING IDENTITIES,' which explores the labyrinths of human consciousness and identity, and 'FUTURE LANDSCAPES,' which examines abstract and conceptual spaces re-defining boundaries between mind, soul, and the urban environment.
What is Offered
The participation includes exhibition space managed by professionals, assistance with customs and shipping, accommodation search assistance, marketing materials (invitation cards, posters), local and global press office services, exhibition website realization, mounting/dismounting, and an opening event.
Requirements
Open to artists, architects, designers, associate groups, and studios worldwide. Applicants must provide a CV/biography and relevant visual materials for their work.
