About the Open Call

ITSLIQUID Group, in collaboration with YMX Arts, is pleased to announce the open call for BODYSPACES, the first appointment of CANVAS INTERNATIONAL ART FAIR 2025, which will take place in London, at ELEMENTS Contemporary Art Space from September 05 to September 18, 2025. Since 2001, ITSLIQUID Group has organized over 350 international events, engaging more than 10,000 artists across over 60 global venues. The concept of 'canvas' has evolved from traditional painting supports to encompass photographic, cinematographic, human body, and digital realms, serving as a common ground for creatives. BODYSPACES explores the perception of our body as the first step for identity appropriation, viewing bodies as spaces for human experimentation and achievement, influenced by physical and psychical actions. The exhibition invites artists to express the relationship between the body and human life, celebrating new identities in contemporary times. CANVAS INTERNATIONAL ART FAIR consists of two main events: BODYSPACES (September 05 – 18, 2025) and VISIONS (November 21 – December 04, 2025). Artists interested are free to be sponsored and supported by institutions, organizations, governments, and their representatives, with logos included in all communications. ITSLIQUID Group has a history of major art and architecture festivals and aims to provide a platform for artists to present their works to an international audience of professionals including curators, gallerists, collectors, editors, and publishers.

What is Offered

Exhibition space managed by art professionals, assistance with customs formalities, international shipping and local transport, assistance in finding accommodation, design and printing of invitation cards and posters, global and local press office and publicity, realization of exhibition website and dedicated press releases, mounting and dismounting of the exhibition, exhibition opening event. Opportunity to present works to an international audience of curators, gallerists, collectors, editors, and publishers.

Requirements

Artists, architects, and designers, associate groups and studios are invited to express, through their artistic research, the relationship between the body and human life, celebrating new identities in contemporary times. The number of works to submit is unlimited. Participation in the art show requires an entry fee only for selected artworks.
