Call for Artists: “Possibilities” – International Exhibition

About the Open Call

CICA Museum invites artists worldwide to participate in the International Exhibition 'Possibilities.' We welcome photography, 2D digital art, video art, interactive art, drawing, painting, sculpture, and installation art that are children-friendly and explore the themes of possibility, hope, and the future. Categories include Painting, Drawing, and Print; Sculpture & Installation Art; Photography & 2D Digital Art; Video & Interactive Art. For Photography & 2D Digital Art, selected works will be printed in 10x15 or 10x10 inches, framed, and installed by curators, with options for larger sizes (additional fees may apply). For Video & Interactive Art, projectors and DVD/DIVX players will be provided; special requirements for dedicated projectors or multiple projectors/monitors should be specified (additional fees may apply). For Painting, Sculpture & Installation Art, artists are responsible for shipment and related expenses. Two-dimensional works should be no larger than 39 inches (1 m) on the longest side. Installation pieces should be no larger than 39x39x79 inches (1x1x2 m, wxlxh). Wall-mounted works should not exceed 10 kg. Exhibition Dates: January 21 – February 8, 2026 (subject to change).

Requirements

Artists are required to submit children-friendly works exploring themes of possibility, hope, and the future. Submission should include up to 3 video links or 5 JPG images (100–500 KB each) and a bio. Selected artists must pay a show processing and maintenance fee of USD 75 per work. Physical works (Painting, Sculpture, Installation Art) must adhere to size limits (2D works: max 39 inches on longest side; installation: max 39x39x79 inches; wall-mounted: max 10 kg) and artists are responsible for shipping. Special requirements for video/interactive art (e.g., dedicated projectors) may incur additional fees.

Please send up to 3 links to videos and/or up to 5 JPG images (recommended size: 100–500 KB per image), along with your bio, to submission@cicamuseum.com. In the subject line of your email, please write: “Submission: Possibilities – Category – Artist’s Name.”
