About the Open Call

The residency programme at Casa d’Artistes is aimed at supporting creators in visual arts, performance, podcasting, and sound art. Participants are expected to use the residency for research and creation, participate in a work-in-progress exhibition, and submit a final report. The center offers four distinct residency lines: Illes d’Art (visual arts), Performance Residency, Podcast Creation in Catalan, and Arts al Nord (music and sound art). All selected residents receive access to workspace and staff support, while those from outside Menorca receive travel and accommodation coverage.

What is Offered

Artist fees between €900 and €1,100, return trip from within Europe for non-residents of Menorca, accommodation at the creation centre, workspace access, and staff support.

Requirements

Creators must be of legal age, able to provide an official invoice, available for an online interview if requested, and can apply for a maximum of two residencies.

How to Apply

Applicants must submit their documentation via the provided Google Forms link. Required documents include an artist dossier (artistic statement, career history, recent work) and a project proposal (description, objectives, motivation letter). Documentation can be in Catalan, Spanish, or English.
