Collaborative Micro-commissions

About the Open Call

Modern Art Oxford is launching an open call for three collaborative micro-commissions responding to the question: How can collective practice/s help us to embrace uncertainty and complexity? We are looking for groups of two or more people including established collectives, new collaborations, interdisciplinary partnerships, and informal or community-led groups based in the South East of England. Selected works will be part of a shared group exhibition in our Ground Floor Gallery.

What is Offered

Each selected collective receives a £1000 artist fee, £500 production budget, curatorial mentorship, four months of exhibition time, professional installation photography, promotion, technical support, and networking opportunities.

Requirements

Applicants must be based in the Arts Council England South East area. Applications require a short biography (max 200 words), a proposal (max 500 words), and up to five examples of previous work.
