About the Open Call

The Collage on Screen Artist Residency is a five-week program exploring the history and practice of collage in motion, covering animations, film cut-ups, stop-motion, and more. The program includes virtual meetings, discussion, and professional development in storytelling and technical skills for moving images and sound. Residents will produce a 30-second film for potential screening at Kolaj Fest New Orleans 2027.

Requirements

Applicants must submit contact information, artist bio, statement of practice, and 5-7 examples of work. Artists should be prepared to use their own technology and potentially acquire necessary software.
