About the Open Call

Composed is a juried exhibition inviting photographers to submit work where composition is fundamental to the image's impact. From carefully constructed arrangements to fleeting moments, we seek work that demonstrates an intentional approach to seeing. All photographic genres and processes are encouraged. Up to 35 images will be selected for exhibition in Middlebury, Vermont, and approximately 40 for the Online Gallery.

What is Offered

Exhibition in physical gallery and online gallery, inclusion in catalog, awards including $500 Juror's Award, $300 Director's Award, and $100 Honorable Mentions.

Requirements

Artists may enter up to 12 images. Selected artists for the physical exhibition must supply physical prints by September 18, 2026.
