Creative Futures Commission 2026: A Paid Residency Opportunity for Early-Career Artists in Bristol

About the Open Call

Creative Futures offers emerging artists and musicians the time, space and support to develop their practice through a three-month residency, a £500 commission and a programme of mentoring, workshops and creative exchange. The residency runs from October 6, 2026 to January 26, 2027. Artists must be aged 16-25, based in Bristol, North Somerset, Bath or South Gloucestershire, not currently in university education, and eligible to work in the UK.

What is Offered

£500 commission, 3-month residency at The Station including studio space, mentoring, professional development workshops, and a showcase at The Courts.

Requirements

Aged 16–25; based in Bristol, North Somerset, Bath or South Gloucestershire; prepared to commute weekly to central Bristol; not currently in university education; eligible to work in the UK; availability on Tuesdays.
