Creative in Residence 2027

About the Open Call

The UTS Library Creative in Residence program is a six-month residency designed to bring a creative vision to life within the library. The resident is expected to work in the library at least once a week for 16 weeks to engage with the community and participate in events. The program offers a $15,000 remuneration and a $5,000 material budget. The residency will take place from approximately March to September 2027.

What is Offered

Remuneration of $15,000 for time and energy, plus a $5,000 material budget.

Requirements

Applicants must be able to work in the library at least once a week for 16 weeks, be prepared to engage with the community and participate in events, and deliver a creative project.
