Creative Youth Network
The Creative Futures Commission runs from April to July 2026, supporting early-career artists aged 16-25. It includes a residency at The Station, access to studio space, mentoring, and professional development sessions, concluding with a public showcase at The Courts in Bristol. The program emphasizes building a creative community and is designed to help artists facing barriers to their career development. Two of the four spaces are specifically reserved for musicians/sound artists.
A £500 commission, a 3-month residency at The Station including creative, dance, and recording studio space, a showcase at The Courts, personalized mentoring, creative workshops, 1-2-1 producing professional development sessions, and facilitated artist-to-artist creative exchange.
Aged 16-25; Based in Bristol, North Somerset, Bath, or South Gloucestershire; Not currently in university education; Eligible to work in the UK; Available for Tuesdays throughout April, May, June, and July 2026.
Artists must answer five application questions via a written submission or a video link, upload an example of their creative work (portfolio, Soundcloud, or photos/footage), and provide basic information about their status and availability.
