Goethe-Institut
Culture Moves Europe supports cultural mobility across 40 Creative Europe countries, covering sectors such as architecture, cultural heritage, design, fashion design, literature, music, performing arts, and visual arts. With a budget of €21 million, it offers mobility grants to approximately 7,000 artists, cultural professionals, and host organizations from 2022 to 2025, funded by the Creative Europe programme and implemented by the Goethe-Institut. The scheme comprises two main action lines: individual mobility and residencies. The individual mobility action offers financial support for individuals traveling between 7 and 40 days, or groups of up to five persons traveling between 7 and 14 days. Rolling calls for these are typically open every year between autumn and spring. The residency action targets organizations and established individual artists who regularly organize and are interested in hosting artists and cultural professionals.
