About the Open Call

AVISTAVULCÃO offers a one-month residency in March 2027 on Faial Island, near the Capelinhos Volcano. The program focuses on research and creation, encouraging engagement with the landscape, local history, and contemporary challenges of peripheral regions. Artists will engage with local stakeholders and the community, culminating in a public presentation. Open to artists from countries eligible for the Creative Europe program.

One-month residency in the Azores, Portugal, funded/supported by the Culture Moves Europe program.

Requirements

Artists from countries eligible for the Creative Europe program. Must be available for the entire duration of the one-month residency in March 2027.
