About the Open Call

MayWe, in partnership with Daisy Chain Inc, is proud to announce the return of Culture Night Belfast in a new format on Friday, September 19th, 2025. This reimagined Culture Night will focus on venue-based events throughout the city, meticulously curated to ensure full inclusivity and accessibility for everyone. The objective is to re-establish the original ethos of Culture Night Belfast, drawing on the foundational principles that inspired its inception. It aims to be an event deeply connected to real people and individual artists, driven by passionate individuals committed to demonstrating the profound impact of arts and culture on society. For its 2025 iteration, Culture Night Belfast is dedicated to a model that centralizes artists and creatives within its agenda. This approach will establish a robust framework for events extending beyond 2025, guaranteeing the event's enduring commitment to its core values into the future.

What is Offered

The opportunity offers a platform for artists and creatives to showcase their work within venue-based events across Belfast during Culture Night 2025. The organizers aim to provide a model that places artists at the centre of the agenda, laying a foundation for future events. Financial support is available for submissions that require it.

Requirements

Applicants are invited to submit their proposals via the official online submission form. The event is curated to be fully inclusive and accessible to all.

How to Apply

To apply, access the online submission form via the provided link: https://forms.gle/DLvXdFi7xz4ha2qx8. Submissions requiring financial support must be made by Friday, July 25th, 2025. All other submissions are due by Friday, August 1st, 2025. For assistance with submissions, applicants are invited to attend the CNB Brainstorming session on Friday, July 4th, 2pm-4pm at the Black Box, or CNB Surgeries on Monday, July 7th, 2pm-4pm, and Thursday, July 10th, 2pm-4pm, both at 2 Royal Avenue. No RSVP is required for these support sessions.
