About the Open Call
The Curating Collage Workshop is a five-week program exploring the fundamentals of curating, how to create critical context for collage, and various strategies for navigating the art ecosystem. Topics include art writing; gallery and museum issues; documenting artist practice; and working with art professionals. Participants will learn to develop an exhibition prospectus and will curate works from the Kolaj Institute Collection and fellow participants.
What is Offered
Participants will gain curatorial skills, develop an exhibition prospectus, and have their curatorial work considered for inclusion in exhibitions at Kolaj Institute's Gallery in New Orleans.
Requirements
Self-motivated artists at any stage in their career.
