About the Open Call

Selected applicants will receive a £500 honourarium and the opportunity to present their work as part of Curating Otherwise: The Gathering at Southbank Centre in November 2026. We are looking for people shaping culture in thoughtful, imaginative and community-rooted ways, including those working in exhibitions, public programmes, digital platforms, events, archives, sound, film or performance.

Requirements

Applicants must be emerging curators based in the UK.

Complete the online application form and submit a 250-word response to the question 'What does it mean to curate your way through the world?' and a 250-word description of a curatorial project, programme or initiative.
