About the Open Call
Dance on Camera Festival presents feature-length documentary and narrative films, inventive short films, filmmaker panels, and special events. The festival connects artists with audiences and industry leaders through workshops, Q&As, and networking opportunities. It welcomes submissions in genres including narrative, documentary, animation, and experimental dance films.
What is Offered
Selected films will be screened during the 55th Annual Dance on Camera Festival and considered for the Dance on Camera Touring Program.
Requirements
Filmmaker must hold all rights and permissions for the submitted film. Films must not have been publicly screened in the New York City region three months prior to the festival dates (December 31, 2026 - April 3, 2027).
