Deep Focus Artist Film Screening

About the Open Call

Deep Focus is seeking submissions for an artist film screening. The event includes a screening of works up to 10 minutes in length and a possible Q&A session with the artists. The curators are specifically interested in research themes and building a local community of creators. AI-assisted work is eligible but subject to a quota (no more than 25% of the final selection).

What is Offered

Selected works will be screened at the event, promoted via social media (Instagram), and artists may participate in a Q&A session.

Requirements

Films must be 10 minutes or less. Video resolution must be 1920x1080 or smaller. AI-assisted work is allowed but restricted by a quota. Descriptions and artist statements must be 30 words or less. Preference is given to artists who can attend the screening in person.

How to Apply

Submit via the Google Form. Applicants must provide a downloadable link to their video (resolution 1920x1080 or smaller) and include a short description, artist statement, and bio.
