arebyte Digital Art Centre
arebyte’s Digital Art Residency is a programme dedicated to support creatives critically engaging with technology to develop their practice over a period of four months. Based at arebyte Digital Art Centre in Camden, the residency provides a creative practitioner with a studio space, a series of mentoring sessions and opportunities to engage with London’s digital art scene through arebyte’s events programme. This 2025 Autumn Open Call is open for creatives producing work that responds to our current programme focused on ‘The Body, The Mind, The Soul’, which explores human experience in the digital age, investigating how technology is shaping our physical existence, while expanding our mental and philosophical dimensions. The residency offers: A working space during 4 months at arebyte Digital Art Centre in Camden, 1 in-progress sharing event or open studio with a public Q&A, 4 curatorial support sessions and 2 production session provided by arebyte, An online residency profile and artist interview featured across arebyte’s digital channels and newsletter.

Applicants must be an artist or creative working with technology as a medium and conceptual framework, aged 18 or over, and not enrolled as a student during the residency period. They must be based in London and available to work in person from arebyte’s Camden location for the full four-month duration. It is the applicant’s responsibility to ensure they have the right to live and work in the UK. Priority is given to individuals who do not currently have access to studios for the development of their practice.
Applicants must submit an online form requiring an overview of their practice, a project description responding to the theme of ‘The Body, the Mind, The Soul’ detailing aims for the residency, and a portfolio (no more than 6 pages) showing examples of work, writing, or research in PDF format. Applications are submitted via a Google Form link provided on the website.
