About the Open Call
The Drawing of the Year Awards recognize excellence in visual representation across six categories: Drafted, Hand Drawn, Hybrid, Illustrated, Modelled, and Visualised. The competition aims to support the next generation of image-makers with an unrivaled collection of hardware, software licenses, professional tools, and publication opportunities.
What is Offered
Six category winners will receive prize collections worth over £9,000 GBP each, a share of a £3,000 GBP cash prize pool, global exhibition, and publication in the Ideas Pocketbook 2026.
Requirements
Submissions must relate to the built environment. Entries are judged based on originality, style, use of media, aesthetic qualities, narrative communication, and impact.
