About the Open Call

DRIFT is seeking mid-career choreographers based in specific partner countries for a research and development phase. The program includes a budget of 20,000 euros for research, an Onboarding Lab, residencies, online working sessions, and a showcase at the Biennale de la danse in Lyon. Applicants must be based in one of the partner countries: Belgium (French-speaking Community), France, Germany (Berlin region), Greece, Norway, Italy, Spain, Ukraine, Tunisia, or Portugal.

Requirements

Mid-career professional choreographers; based in one of the 10 specified countries; proficiency in English; available for key dates in Berlin (Nov 2026), Tunis (March 2027), and Lyon (Sept 2027).
