Early Career Writers of Poetry 2026

About the Open Call
This two-week residency supports new writers of poetry, from those not-yet-published to those with one book. Participants engage in a flexible, self-directed program with optional elements including one-on-one mentorship, faculty talks, Q&A sessions, and public readings. Accommodations and private studio space are provided.
What is Offered
Includes individual accommodation, a private studio space, meal plan credits, and access to campus facilities (library, fitness center, box office discounts).
Requirements
Applicants must be 18+ at the start date. Open to writers with no publications, a few, or one book. Projects must be written in English. Participants should be comfortable working autonomously.
