Bow Arts
The East London Art Prize (ELAP) celebrates and promotes the incredible talent and diversity of art made in east London. The prize supports a cohort of 12 artists through a shortlist exhibition, career development support, mentoring and training grants, and paid opportunities. The exhibition winner receives £15,000 and a solo exhibition, while the residency winner receives a year's free studio space with Bow Arts. Open to artists in 14 specific east London boroughs who hold an arts degree/equivalent or can demonstrate commitment to their practice.
£15,000 cash prize, solo exhibition at Nunnery Gallery, one year of free studio space, and career development support for 12 shortlisted artists.
Artists must live or work in one of the following boroughs: Barking & Dagenham, Bexley, City of London, Greenwich, Hackney, Havering, Islington, Lambeth, Lewisham, Newham, Redbridge, Southwark, Tower Hamlets, or Waltham Forest. Must hold an arts degree, equivalent qualification, or demonstrate commitment to practice.
