About the Open Call

South Square Centre is seeking an Emerging Curator to join our team for an 8-month placement aimed at learning, developing skills and increasing confidence for someone at the beginning of their career in contemporary visual arts. The role involves working across exhibitions, public realm projects, community-led projects, events, and audience development. The role includes assisting with curation, installation, writing interpretation, designing events, and supporting marketing.

What is Offered

Real Living Wage of £13.45ph for 22.5 hours per week for an 8-month duration.

Requirements

Priority given to those living in the Bradford district; open to wider West Yorkshire area. Not open to international applicants. Not open to those currently studying unless finished before start date. Must be flexible to work evenings and weekends.
