About the Open Call
Experimenta is an international festival for experimental film and moving image art in India. The 13th edition seeks films that challenge conventional modes of cinema and extend the parameters of genre and form, including fiction, non-fiction, or hybrid works. Films must be completed after January 1st, 2025, and have a maximum duration of 80 minutes.
What is Offered
Selected films will be screened at the Experimenta festival in Bangalore.
Requirements
Applicants must be filmmakers from Asia or the diaspora from the specified list of Asian countries. Films must be completed after Jan 1, 2025, and be under 80 mins. Preview copies must be submitted via streaming links (Vimeo/YouTube). Non-English content must have English subtitles.
