About the Open Call
Maryland Federation of Art (MFA) and EYC invite artists from across the United States to participate in the annual art competition to design the official image for the 2026 Eastport Yacht Club Lights Parade. The winning entry will be reproduced on promotional materials, and all entries will be displayed in an online gallery from November through December 31, 2026.
What is Offered
Winner receives $2,500, with a $125 contribution toward framing. People's Choice winner receives a $70 MFA membership.
Requirements
Artists must reside in the US or its territories. Maximum of 2 original 2D works completed within the past 3 years. Artwork size must be at least 24x30 inches and no more than 36 inches in any direction (including frame). Must depict an Annapolis landmark/skyline, decorated boat, and the EYC burgee.
How to Apply
Submit via MFA's online entry system by uploading JPEG images (1,500-3,000 pixels on longest side, max 5MB).
