About the Open Call

The Fairport Public Arts Committee (FPAC) is seeking artist qualifications for a public art installation project. This is a multi-stage process involving qualifications followed by proposals from finalists. The selected project is funded by the Canal Days Committee. The artist is responsible for concept development, schematic design, and providing necessary drawings for permitting, while the FPAC handles the permit application process. Stamped engineered plans will be required of the selected artist/team.

Total project budget of $30,000.

Artists or artist teams; must be able to provide stamped engineered plans as part of the final development phase.
