About the Open Call
Festival Commons is a collective of cultural disruptors reshaping what festivals can be. The program offers a ten-day in-person lab during Sydney Festival, online sessions, and a growing network for IBPoC (Indigenous, Black and People of Colour) cultural organizers. It provides mentorship, resourcing, and opportunities for sector leadership.
What is Offered
Each participant receives an honorarium of $2,400 AUD, plus coverage for flights, accommodation, and per diems for international participants.
Requirements
Applicants must identify as IBPoC, be based in Greater Sydney or the Asia Pacific region, and be involved in cultural organizing or community-based creative practice.
