About the Open Call
The Sight/Geist series supports emerging NYC-based artists working in contemporary art and moving-image practices. The foundation provides curatorial, administrative, and promotional support. Submissions are invited for two categories: Single-channel screening and Performance and expanded forms. Selected artists receive an artist fee and must be able to submit an invoice and US tax form.
What is Offered
Curatorial, administrative, and promotional support; performance fees range from $300-$750 with optional $250 production cost reimbursement.
Requirements
Must be 18+ years old, primary residence in NYC, identify as an emerging artist, and be able to submit an invoice and US tax form.
