About the Open Call

The 2026 National Juried Exhibition is an open call for original studio works including oils, acrylics, watercolors, gouache, pastels, drawings, prints, photography, mixed media, collage, and sculpture. Juried by Philadelphia-based painter and curator Scott Noel, the exhibition will be held at First Street Gallery's New York City venue. The gallery takes no commission on sales made during the exhibition.

What is Offered

Selected artists will have their work exhibited at a Chelsea gallery in NYC from June 25 to July 18, 2026, with a reception on June 25. The gallery charges 0% commission on sales.

Requirements

Open to U.S. resident artists at least 18 years old, excluding those currently represented by First Street Gallery. All work must be original; no giclées or reproductions. 2D works must not exceed 36 inches in height or width (including frame) and must not weigh more than 30 lbs. Free-standing 3D works must have a maximum footprint of 30x30 inches and weigh no more than 50 lbs.

How to Apply

Submit entries electronically through the gallery's online entry form. Artists must provide digital images (JPEGs only, max 5MB) with specific file labeling (LAST NAME_FIRST NAME_Work #). For 3D works, two views of each work are required.
