Freelands Foundation
The Freelands Awards champion and celebrate UK visual art organisations’ commitment to art education. Every year, three winning organisations will each receive £100,000 for a recent or ongoing project demonstrating commitment to progressive art education approaches with a demonstrable impact. The winners will also collaborate with Freelands Foundation on the production of a short film that shares their art education offering and join a celebration event in London announcing the winners later in the year.
£100,000 grant, production of a video case study commissioned by the Foundation, and participation in an announcement celebration event in London.
Applicants must be UK-based organisations (England, Northern Ireland, Scotland, or Wales) run with a charitable purpose for public benefit. Organisations must offer consistent public presentation of visual art at their own venue and have up-to-date safeguarding and equal access policies. Individuals, for-profit organisations, and schools are excluded.
