About the Open Call

The SÍM Residency January-February 2027 program is funded by the Nordic-Baltic Mobility Programme for Culture. It provides artists with accommodation, studio space, and a stipend. The program emphasizes artistic research and production related to sustainability and social issues, culminating in an exhibition. Open to artists residing in Denmark, Finland, the Faroe Islands, Greenland, Norway, Sweden, Åland, Estonia, Latvia, or Lithuania.

What is Offered

Stipend of 2.000 EUR, travel grant of 600 EUR, and material cost allowance of 500 EUR.

Requirements

Available for full duration (January 3rd to February 28th, 2027); Bachelor's degree in arts or equivalent professional experience; English proficiency; Project proposal; Openness to social engagement and collaboration.
