FUSA Dance Festival 2026 Call for Projects

About the Open Call

FUSA promotes artistic exchange between France and the United States by supporting dance companies that have a strong connection to both countries, their cultures, or languages. The festival creates opportunities for professional choreographers and performers to present their work, participate in workshops, and connect with an international network of artists. The programme welcomes a wide range of contemporary choreographic approaches, encouraging experimentation and cultural dialogue. In addition to performance opportunities, selected artists may be invited to teach a class as part of the In Motion VII workshop programme for additional compensation.

Requirements

Open to professional dance companies with: A Franco-American identity or collaboration, or A strong artistic connection between France and the United States. All contemporary choreographic formats are accepted, including: Solo Duo Trio Group works Performance duration must be between 8 and 30 minutes. Stage dimensions: 50 ft (W) × 18 ft (D)
