GagaPeople
GagaLab Winter 2026 in New York offers 6 days of intensive physical research. Participants will engage in morning Gaga/dancers classes, apply Gaga tools to Naharin’s choreography in daily repertory sessions, and deepen their understanding in afternoon metodika classes. The program aims to develop artistry and connection to movement skills, imagination, and passion. Dates: January 5-10, 10:00 am – 4:00 p.m. each day (*January 7 & 9 will finish at 4:30 p.m., and January 10 will finish at 2:00 p.m.). Location: Mark Morris Dance Center, Brooklyn, NY. This GagaLab offers a framework to develop your artistry, connecting to your skills, imagination, and passion to move. Participants will awaken their senses and turn on their engines in morning Gaga/dancers classes, apply Gaga tools to Naharin’s renowned, challenging choreography in daily repertory sessions, and deepen their understanding of Gaga in afternoon metodika classes.
The GagaLab is intended for professional dancers and advanced dance students age 18+. Applicants must provide a link to a 2-minute video of their dancing, where they are clearly and completely visible with no other dancers. A CV in English must also be emailed as part of the application process.
To apply, complete the following 3 steps: 1. Pay the non-refundable $50 application fee via Stripe. 2. Complete the application form, including a 2-minute video of your dancing (must be clearly and completely visible, no other dancers). 3.
