About the Open Call
The artwork must be driven by the colour green; it must occupy the majority of the territory or be the focal point, purpose, subject or meaning of the composition. This contest features the exclusive EMERALD Award, which is presented only once a year. Eligible media include two-dimensional work done by hand (paintings, drawings), photography, digital art, mixed-media, print work, and collage. Sculpture, video, sound, and AI-generated works are largely ineligible.
What is Offered
Awards include Best In Show (wins free-entry voucher), Golden Trio Award, Diamond Awards of Excellence, Emerald Awards, Crystal Awards, Awards of Merit and Honourable Mention. Winners receive a digital certificate, a special award page, and features in a Winners Video and 3D Rotation Gallery.
Requirements
Artists must be 18 years or older, emerging or established, and able to communicate in English or Spanish. All artwork must be original and not previously shown on the site. Images must be in jpg format, under 2MB, and follow specific labeling conventions (Last name-Title).

Fill out the online entry form on the website, wait for the pop-up confirmation, and then proceed with payment of the $20 fee via the PayPal link provided on the page.
