About the Open Call

Global Lens exists to recognize photographs that carry vision, craft, and lasting emotional force. The 2026 edition features 9 categories including Advertising, Architecture, Fine Art, and Nature. Benefits for selected photographers include cash prizes, inclusion in the Annual Book, virtual exhibition placement, and published interviews.

What is Offered

Photographer of the Year receives €1,000, a commemorative trophy, Annual Book feature, published interview, and virtual exhibition placement. Other distinctions include exhibition, book inclusion, and media coverage.

Requirements

Open to photographers aged 18 and over worldwide. Submissions must be original JPEG images (sRGB or Adobe RGB), at least 2,000 pixels on the longest side, and no more than 5 MB. No watermarks allowed.
