About the Open Call

The 2025 Gomma Photography Grant is now open for submissions. We are looking for originality, depth, and photographic integrity across all genres, including Portraiture, Documentary, Fine Art, Black & White, Photojournalism, Conceptual, and Landscape photography. Submissions should consist of 8 to 24 images (JPGs - sRGB/RGB, 72 dpi, minimum 1500 pixels on the longest side) from an unfinished, ongoing, or completed project. All mediums, whether black & white or color, analogue or digital, including Polaroid and Instagram, are accepted. Applicants must provide a short description, and may optionally include an artist statement and a short biography/resume. Images should be named as: Name-Surname-imageNumber.jpg (e.g., Eugene-Smith-01.Jpg). Multiple entries are allowed if images are from different bodies of work. Joint submissions are accepted. AI-generated images are strictly not allowed. Gomma consistently donates to charities addressing contemporary issues.
