About the Open Call

Gotham Park is seeking artist proposals for a fully funded mural project. Artists can apply for either a participatory mural activation or an independent mural project. The project focuses on themes of community engagement, environmental resilience, youth and family programming, and public health. Selected artists receive a $2,000 artist fee and up to $1,000 for materials.

Artist fee of $2,000 and a materials budget of up to $1,000.

Requirements

Applicants must choose between two scopes: Scope 1 (Participatory Mural Activation) or Scope 2 (Independent Mural Artist). All materials must be VOC-free.
