About the Open Call
GRAIN URBAIN festival is an international celebration of short films (under 30 minutes) open to all filmmakers. The festival focuses on themes such as city life, urban planning, architecture, infrastructure, and urban sociology. The third edition will be held in Paris in early 2027.
What is Offered
Selected films are screened at a public event in Paris. Directors of selected films receive a lump-sum payment of 50 EUR for screening rights and accreditation.
Requirements
Short films must not exceed 30 minutes, must relate to urban themes, and must have been produced since 2025. Non-French films must be subtitled in French.
