Hayama Artist Residency

About the Open Call

The Hayama Artist Residency provides an opportunity for artistic growth in a calm, nurturing environment. The residency includes roundtrip flights, shared accommodations, and an $800 USD stipend for meals and local transport. While there are scheduled programs, artists are not required to create new work. A group exhibition is held in partnership with KOKI ARTS in Tokyo. The selection is made by an international committee of curators and arts professionals.

Requirements

Artists must be willing to work cooperatively regarding the group exhibition logistics, including consignment, shipping, and insurance.
