HYDRA Blue 2.0

About the Open Call

Inspired by the Greek word Hydra (ὕδρα), meaning water, this theme explores the many shades of blue; from sea and sky to dreams, mythology, emotion, and the iconic blue-and-white spirit of Greece. All forms of Visual Art, Music and Poetry (Spoken Word) are accepted (jpg, png, GIF, mp4 and mp3). Selected artists will be showcased in September 2026 in a cutting-edge AR experience and exhibited in the dedicated Metaverse Experience. One Grand Winner will be selected by public vote to receive a solo IRL physical AR location-based exhibition on Hydra Island in summer 2027.

What is Offered

Requirements

Submissions must respond to the theme of 'Hydra' and the various shades of blue. Accepted formats include jpg, png, GIF, mp4, and mp3.
