About the Open Call

Icons is a visual exploration of figures, symbols, and moments that shape culture, influence society, and transcend time. Artists are invited to submit works that engage with the idea of icons in any form, portraits of cultural figures, symbolic imagery, or conceptual reflections on power, legacy, and myth-making.

What is Offered

Cash awards for 1st ($500), 2nd ($300), 3rd ($200) place, merit awards, and honorable mentions, plus exhibition opportunity.

Requirements

Work must be original, completed within the last three years, not previously shown at ACS. All work must be for sale.
