About the Open Call

Casa na Ilha provides a retreat space for artists to focus on their creative pursuits in a self-directed environment. The program includes on-site tutoring/guidance, opportunities for peer interaction, and access to shared studio spaces. The environment is designed to promote collaboration and inspiration through nature and community. Residencies last from 2 to 4 weeks, with shared or private accommodations available.

What is Offered

Residency includes daily breakfast, weekly group dinner, shared kitchen access, lodging, and shared studio workspace. Fees range from 1950 USD to 3690 USD depending on duration and room type.

Requirements

Applicants must submit a bio, project proposal, and work samples. Open to artists based anywhere in the world at any stage of their career.
