Imaginarius
Imaginarius positions public space not simply as a venue for presentation, but as an active material for artistic creation. The festival welcomes proposals across theatre, dance, music, circus, performance, intervention, installation, new media, and multidisciplinary practices, particularly projects with a performative component. Fixed, itinerant, durational, and continuous formats are all eligible, provided they are suited to public space contexts. Up to 18 projects are expected to be selected for the 2027 edition. The festival emphasizes live, situated, and shared artistic experiences, encouraging projects that engage critically with public space, generate audience participation, and introduce risk, experimentation, and singular artistic perspectives. Selected projects become part of the official festival programme alongside national and international artists.
