About the Open Call
Incorporated in 1972, the Smithtown Township Arts Council (STAC) operates the Mills Pond Gallery, offering a unique combination of historical preservation, cultural promotion, and arts exhibition in Suffolk County, New York. For over forty-six years, STAC has been committed to providing a creative outlet and the opportunity to experience, investigate, and discover contemporary art and cultural issues relevant to public life. The "Imagination 25" exhibition aims to engage the public and foster communication through art, believing the arts are indispensable for building good character and offering new insights on the world. STAC is a recognized 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization, supported by the Town of Smithtown and public/private donations. The exhibition is juried by David Reuss.
