IN MORPHOSIS
The IN MORPHOSIS Contemporary Dance Program is an ambitious initiative focused on forming complete artists, conscious and responsible individuals capable of meeting the demands of an evolving artistic sector while remaining true to themselves. The program is structured over two years: a 'TRAINING CYCLE' (1st year) and 'INTERPRETATION & DANCING SKILLS' (2nd year). Common objectives include developing adaptation capacities to various choreographic aesthetics and languages, constructing an artistic identity, and deepening knowledge across technical, artistic, practical, theoretical, and administrative domains. The program involves 40 professionals, including international and local choreographers, high-quality teachers, and support in health and live performance.
A comprehensive two-year contemporary dance training program, including professional development, mentorship from a team of 40 professionals (choreographers, teachers, health, and live performance specialists), and opportunities to develop an artistic identity and prepare for a professional dance career.
Applicants must submit a CV, a letter of motivation, a video (maximum 2 minutes) of dance improvisation, and a video (maximum 1 minute 30 seconds) of a personal oral presentation explaining their objectives and motivations for the program. Successful pre-selected candidates will be invited to a two-round physical audition or a video audition followed by an interview for international or remote candidates.
Applications for auditions must be submitted via the online registration form. A pre-selection is made based on your CV, cover letter, a maximum 2-minute dance improvisation video, and a maximum 1.5-minute personal oral presentation explaining your objectives and motivations. For selected candidates, physical auditions will take place in Castelnau le Lez (France) over two rounds, including classical and contemporary dance classes, choreographic improvisation/composition, and repertoire learning, followed by a personal interview. Candidates outside mainland France or those unable to attend in person can apply by video, respecting content communicated by email, uploading their video, and then participating in a phone or video interview.
