Nebraska Arts Council
The Individual Artist Fellowship program recognizes artists in Nebraska by providing financial support for professional artistic growth. This year's focus is on Literary Arts (fiction, non-fiction, poetry). Applicants must be Nebraska residents for at least 24 months, not enrolled in an undergraduate program in their field, and the originators of their submitted work. The program uses a professional peer review process based on merit, artist statement, and proposed use of funds.
Fellowship stipend up to $5,000 for a one-year period.
Applicants must be at least 19 years old, a resident of Nebraska for two years prior to application, and remain a resident for the duration of the fellowship. Must not be currently enrolled in an undergraduate program in the artistic field. Must submit artist biography and artist statement (redacted for anonymity) in PDF format along with work samples.
Applications must be submitted through the Nebraska Arts Council's Online Grant System, Foundant.
