About the Open Call

Support for peer learning exchanges, creative practice, research, and creative output between artists and cultural professionals across Africa and Europe. Whether you're researching artistic practices, co-creating with international partners, developing new work, or participating in residencies, this scheme removes barriers to creative mobility. The mobility must clearly advance artistic development and demonstrate genuine partnerships in the destination.

What is Offered

Travel, accommodation, daily allowances, and project costs. Additional support for applicants with caring responsibilities, accessibility needs, or environmentally conscious travel choices.

Requirements

Applicants must be individual artists, cultural workers, curators, or researchers based in Sub-Saharan Africa or an EU country. Both emerging and established practitioners are welcome.
