INHABIT – Artist-in-Residence

About the Open Call

INHABIT invites artists to spend four months creating new work, or further developing an existing project, in a scientific research environment. The residency encourages interdisciplinary collaboration and aims to foster interaction between artistic practice and scientific inquiry. Participants receive an artist fee of 8.000 Euro, an accommodation fee of 2.000 Euro, a production budget, and travel coverage. The residency culminates in an exhibition, performance, concert, or other presentation format.

Requirements

Artists from the performing arts and music who are active in contemporary culture and open to interdisciplinary collaboration with scientists. Must be available for the 4-month residency period.

How to Apply

Applications must be uploaded via the online portal and must include a CV, an artist's statement (max. 500 words), a proposed project description outlining scientific connections (max. 500 words), and a portfolio (max. 20 pages).
